Acclaimed Calidore String Quartet

On March 5, 2017, Santa Fe Pro Musica presents the internationally prize-winning Calidore String Quartet. Renowned for their fiery brilliance, musical depth, and captivating energy, they'll perform Mozart's Quartet in D Minor, a new work by Caroline Shaw, and Dvořák's Quartet in F Major, Op. 96 "American".
Santa Fe Symphony's Choral Masterworks

On March 12, 2017, The Santa Fe Symphony presents "Choral Masterworks" at First Presbyterian Church. Led by Choral Director Dr. Linda Raney, the Symphony Chorus performs three European masses: Duruflé's Messe Cum Jubilo for male voices, Fauré's Messe Basse for women's choir, Monteverdi's Mass in F, and Gerald Finzi's treble-choir Magnificat. On March 19, 2017, the Santa Fe Symphony shares the stage with Gold Medal winner Jinjoo Cho at the Lensic Performing Arts Center. Under Principal Conductor Guillermo Figueroa, she'll tackle Glazunov's demanding concerto, followed by Mahler's majestic Fifth Symphony. Get tickets here.

The Museum of International Folk Art opens "No Idle Hands: The Myth & Meanings of Tramp Art" on March 12, 2017—the first major U.S. exhibition on this woodworking folk art since 1975. Featuring 150+ pieces from the U.S. and beyond, it runs through September 16, 2018.
