Luna Bar and Grill shines with excellent dishes and live music. Its celestial-themed menu features planet-named sandwiches, tempting appetizers, fresh salads, and entrees—plus one of the area’s best Sunday brunches. At 719 Ryan St., Lake Charles.
Craving Italian? Tony’s Pizza at 335 E Prien Lake Rd., Lake Charles, has served pizzas, pastas, meaty salads, and roast beef sandwiches for over 50 years. Or try Joe’s Pizza and Pasta at 1601 Ruth St., Sulphur, for homemade marinara sauce.
In Sulphur, a hub for local favorites and host of the annual Boudin Wars in September, try boudin anytime at Hollier’s Cajun Kitchen, 1709 Ruth St. They specialize in steaks and seafood, with a popular daily lunch buffet (11 a.m.–2 p.m.). “Big Meat Wednesday” offers all-you-can-eat chicken, sausage, pork steak, ribs, rice dressing, beans, and potato salad.
