This trendy pub on Ryan Street offers it all: kid- and pet-friendly vibes, a prime spot on bustling Ryan Street, mouthwatering dishes, live local music, and games like darts while you wait.
Expect a tantalizing menu with craft beers, a relaxed vibe featuring a spacious outdoor patio, game area, covered bar, and large indoor dining space—keeping it packed for lunch and dinner daily.
Highlights include shrimp tacos, ahi tuna, grilled shrimp pasta, Angus ribeye, blackened chicken pasta, and the popular Jockamo salad with softshell crab, avocado, tomato, onion, and chives over spring greens.
Hamburger lovers rejoice with options like the 'Chuck Vegas' (fried eggs, Angus patty, fried pickles, cheddar, chipotle mayo). A weekend brunch menu is coming soon.
Visit www.rikenjaks.com or their Facebook page for entertainment updates.
3716 Ryan St. Open daily 11 a.m.-2 a.m.
TIA JUANITA'S FISH CAMP
This lively, casual spot evokes a true fish camp with authentic flavors and fun energy.
Menu stars: grilled fish tacos, savory gumbo, shrimp & grits, New Orleans BBQ shrimp. But don't miss the Boudin Quesadillas—grilled smoked boudin, melted mozzarella, green onions in a buttery tortilla, served with guacamole, pico de gallo, and jalapeños.

For a healthy pick, try shrimp and veggies: six jumbo shrimp with sautéed zucchini, yellow squash, bell peppers, red onions over chicken rice and mango salsa.
Unique twist: Bring your own fresh catch (cleaned) for the chef to prepare—no fish tale!
Browse local art and photography while waiting.
723 Ryan St. Open Mon-Sat 11 a.m.-9 p.m. (337) 602-6243

More gems: Blue Dog Café, 1910, Delta Downs’ Rosewater Grill & Tavern (try their sliders or street tacos). Newest brewery, Crying Eagle, hosts local food trucks. Stay updated at www.visitlakecharles.org/restaurants/.
