Fire & Oak – Lake Charles’ Newest Culinary Gem
Since rumors first surfaced about Fire & Oak, anticipation has been building for Chef Andrew Green's latest venture. The evocative name conjures images of intimate evenings under the stars or vibrant gatherings with friends filled with laughter. Chef Green's acclaimed 1910 restaurant in downtown Lake Charles sustained damage from Hurricane Laura in August 2020, yet he persevered, opening Fire & Oak in late February 2021. A testament to resilience and culinary passion.
Fire & Oak is nestled in the enchanting Oak Crossing development in South Lake Charles, surrounded by majestic oaks adorned with twinkling lights. Stepping inside reveals a sophisticated ambiance: a gleaming black piano in the bar area invites melodies, while a dividing wall separates the lively bar from the elegant dining room—perfect for casual bites with friends or a full dining experience.
