After surveying approximately 120 Lake Charles locals, I visited the top-voted bakeries to taste-test their offerings firsthand. From classic recipes to creative innovations, here's a guide to SWLA's standout King Cakes, based on community favorites and personal reviews.

Rouse's bakes fresh three times daily, introduces new flavors weekly on Wednesdays, and ships nationwide. Assistant Store Director Greg Duhon emphasizes their gourmet quality at affordable prices. They donated King Cakes to 32 local businesses, including the Fire Department and Gillis Elementary staff.
