Open Wednesday–Sunday, 10 am–4 pm. Visitor information is available daily 10 am–5 pm at Waite and Peirce on Derby Street.

The visitor center, located at 2 New Liberty Street across from the Peabody Essex Museum and the Museum Place Garage, serves as the ideal starting point for exploring Salem’s rich history and its vibrant downtown.

Portable toilets are available next to the Visitor Center, and indoor restrooms are accessible during operating hours.
