About
Salem Arts Association is a volunteer‑run community gallery located on historic Derby Street, nestled between the Salem Maritime National Historic Site and The House of the Seven Gables. Our 18th‑century building houses ten galleries and more than 2,000 square feet of exhibition space, showcasing works by local and regional artists in art, crafts, jewelry, and photography.
We foster a vibrant arts community that celebrates diversity and creativity. Guests can enjoy rotating gallery exhibits, a curated shop, performance art, education workshops, and advocacy events. Members receive exhibition opportunities, discounts at local merchants, and access to the North American Reciprocal Museums Program.
Visit us weekends from 12‑6 PM to experience the full spectrum of Salem’s artistic culture.
