Millbrook Marsh Nature Center Artwalk: Open Now Through February 21, 2021
The Centre Region Parks and Recreation Agency (CRPR) recently announced a delightful new attraction at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center, bringing color and joy to the winter landscape.
CRPR has installed vibrant artwork along the nature center's boardwalk to inspire Happy Valley residents and visitors to embrace the outdoors and boost spirits during the colder months.
Featuring 27 community-designed pieces—many created by local residents and some by CRPR staff—the installations hang from trees along or near the boardwalk. Themes include water, animals, trees, landscapes, and more, creating a striking visual experience.
The Artwalk is on display from Monday, February 8, through Sunday, February 21, 2021. Bundle up, wear sturdy boots for potential snow and ice, and enjoy a scenic stroll. Spot wildlife like whitetail deer, mallard ducks, rabbits, and wintering birds. At the trailhead, pick up a free Artist's Brochure with photos, artist details, and inspirations—or download it here: https://bit.ly/3rznGfP.
The boardwalk is open dawn to dusk daily (not maintained in winter). Admission is free. For questions, contact CRPR at 814-231-3071 or crpr@crcog.net.
