- Cyclists are generally prohibited from motorways unless signage permits.
- Night/tunnel rules: Wear reflective gear; front/rear lights visible from 50m.
- For long routes, extend federation insurance or get travel coverage for medical/liability.
- Flying with bikes? Pack properly; airlines/coaches may charge extra.
- RENFE trains (AVE, Long Distance, Avant): Bikes must be folded/dismantled in bags ≤120x90x40cm, pedals off, handlebar rotated 90°.
