Savor Authentic Southern Comfort at Simply Southern Smokehouse in Myrtle Beach

Visitors to the Lowcountry often seek out classic Southern staples like shrimp and grits, fried chicken, and barbecue.

The Myrtle Beach area excels in these comfort foods, with plenty of options available. For barbecue enthusiasts, discover the newest spot: Simply Southern Smokehouse.

This eatery marked its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 23. Owner Tammy Floyd, a 20-year veteran of education and part-time restaurant professional, launched her first venture with encouragement from her former employer.

Signature vinegar-based barbecue anchors the menu, but guests rave about the collard greens, fried chicken, and Tuesday-only pork chops.

Every dish delivers true Southern comfort, aligning perfectly with Floyd's vision.

"If I'm going to fix food, I want it to be comforting to someone else," she shared.

I’m pretty light-footed in a crowded shopping centre, and like a fleeting ninja at rush hour, single-minded in
