Walnut Chutney Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb walnuts
2-3 garlic cloves
1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
¼ Granny Smith apple, chopped
¼ large yellow onion, chopped
1 tsp ginger powder
1½ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp salt
½ lb brown sugar
4 Tbsp butter
Pulse walnuts in a food processor to a medium-fine texture. Set aside.
Pulse garlic, apple cider vinegar, apple, onion, ginger, cinnamon, and salt until fine. In a pot, combine this mixture with butter and brown sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
Remove from heat, stir in walnuts. Serve warm or refrigerate in a covered dish.
