Holiday Magic at Barefoot Landing: Family Events, Lights & Fireworks in North Myrtle Beach

Holiday Magic at Barefoot Landing: Family Events, Lights & Fireworks in North Myrtle Beach

The holiday season brings a lineup of festive activities along the Grand Strand. Barefoot Landing, North Myrtle Beach's premier waterway shopping, dining, and entertainment destination, hosts family-friendly events throughout November and December.

The annual Lighting of the Landing ceremony kicks off the celebrations on Saturday, November 17. Enjoy a visit from Santa, holiday music by The Alabama Theatre, the Risen Christ Lutheran School Choir, and local performers. Activities begin at 4 p.m. with a petting zoo, holiday inflatables, stilt walkers, and card-making for troops. Performances start at 6 p.m. in Dockside Village across from LuLu’s, followed by the lighting of the 22-foot tree and a fireworks show over the lake at 7 p.m.

Weekly festivities continue every Friday and Saturday from November 23 through December 15. On Fridays (November 23 & 30, December 7 & 14) from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday Family Fun Night in Dockside Village features inflatables, face painting, stilt walkers, and balloon animals, culminating in fireworks at 8 p.m.

Saturdays (November 24 & December 1, 8 & 15) from noon to 4 p.m. offer Saturday Afternoon Family Fun with Santa appearances on the Amphitheater stage, petting zoo, inflatables, face painting, stilt walkers, and balloon animals. At 6 p.m., relax on the Amphitheater lawn for outdoor movie screenings: The Polar Express (November 24), A Christmas Story (December 8), and The Santa Clause (December 15).
