Halloween Week at Market Common: Hayrides, Trick-or-Treating, Costume Contests & Classic Movie Screenings

On October 31st, join families, friends, and pets in costumes at The Market Common from 5 to 7 p.m. for our annual trick-or-treating tradition at stores, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Savor the festive vibe from outdoor seating at local eateries. The Headless Coachman offers complimentary haunted carriage rides, while a Monster Mash dance party for kids and adults rocks the Grand 14 Plaza from 5 to 8 p.m. 810 Billiards & Bowling hosts a kids’ costume contest at 7 p.m., followed by an adults’ contest on November 1st.

Kick off Halloween week on Friday, October 25th, with an interactive screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show at The Grand 14 Theater at 10 p.m. On Saturday, October 26th, celebrate the 30th anniversary of SHAG—the beloved film made and set in Myrtle Beach—with an encore presentation due to sold-out demand. Costumes welcome! All-inclusive $25 tickets, covering the private screening at Tupelo Honey on Howard Avenue, dinner, tax, and tip, are available at Eventbrite.com. Cash bar on site. Early seating: 4–7 p.m.; second seating: 7–9 p.m.
