Background: Music has been a lifelong passion for Rick Rushing, from playing cello in elementary school to studying classical guitar at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. Blues courses through his veins—he's related to the legendary Jimmy Rushing, vocalist and musician of the Count Basie Big Band. Rick mastered the blues in Chattanooga's vibrant Scenic City scene and hasn't slowed down since. His live performances inspire audiences, backed by two full-length albums and acoustic EPs of original music.
