UTC Performing Arts Series: Honoring Broadway Legend Dorothy Patten

If you're a performing arts enthusiast, Dorothy Patten's name may ring a bell. A Chattanooga native, Patten graced over 30 Broadway productions, appeared in numerous TV shows, and starred in films like the 1953 classic Botany Bay.

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) upholds a cherished decade-long tradition with its annual UTC Performing Arts Series, celebrating Patten's illustrious career. Running through April, the series features internationally acclaimed artists, actors, and performers at the UTC Fine Arts Center.
