Virgin Atlantic's Escape Pass: Guaranteed Quarantine-Free Caribbean Holidays for Brits

Global border policies and quarantine rules have fluctuated amid the COVID-19 pandemic, but Virgin Atlantic Holidays now guarantees British travelers a quarantine-free return from their winter Caribbean escapes.
The innovative Escape Pass package allows guests to enjoy up to 14 days on a surprise Caribbean island, revealed just two weeks before departure. Travelers choose stay length (7 or 14 days), hotel category, and flight class. Options include Barbados, Antigua, Grenada, and Tobago, with Jamaica and others to follow once added to the UK’s travel corridor list by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.

Over half of British holidaymakers say they'd book sooner with a 100% no-quarantine guarantee on return.
‘Customers are eager for their next adventure after a tough year,’ says Juha Jarvinen, Virgin Atlantic's chief commercial officer. ‘The Caribbean tops the list, where COVID-19 has been well-managed, enabling safe enjoyment of sun, sea, and beaches.’

In August, Virgin Atlantic introduced free COVID-19 insurance for all passengers through March, covering medical expenses, repatriation, denied bookings, and quarantine costs like accommodation, transport, meals, and amendments.
Caribbean destinations, hit hard by tourism declines, now welcome digital nomads with extended visas—Barbados offers a one-year Welcome Stamp, while Antigua and Barbuda provides a two-year residency program.
