Buddy Valastro’s Carlo’s Bakery Debuts at The Florida Mall – A Sweet New Destination

The Florida Mall has welcomed Carlo’s Bakery to Orlando.

Orlando’s dessert scene just grew sweeter with the grand opening of Carlo’s Bakery at The Florida Mall® on December 5. Buddy Valastro, the charismatic star of TLC’s Cake Boss, cut the ribbon in front of a lively crowd of fans and personally guided them through a showcase of handcrafted cakes, pastries, and exclusive merchandise.

Valastro was seen photographing with guests, collaborating with his dedicated team, and finalizing fresh cakes that were presented to attendees who were lucky enough to be present for the inaugural ceremony.

Guests discovered a scaled‑down version of the original Hoboken, New Jersey flagship, complete with all fan‑favorite pastries and a gallery of family photos that helped launch the television phenomenon.

The shop boasts a wide array of freshly baked goods—including red‑velvet cupcakes, cannoli, mini white‑chocolate mousse cakes, and mini strawberry cheesecakes—all made with the same attention to detail that has earned Carlo’s a national reputation.

One standout is the Lobster Tail, a signature treat that pairs a flaky croissant with French cream and a splash of Bailey’s Irish Cream for an indulgent twist.

This new location is part of The Florida Mall’s revamped Dining Pavilion, offering visitors a luxurious pastry experience in the heart of Orlando.
