Orlando Set to Host NFL Pro Bowl 2017–2019, Bringing All‑Star Game to the Sunshine State
The NFL Pro Bowl is heading to Orlando in 2017.
The National Football League has confirmed that the 2017 NFL Pro Bowl, along with a week‑long celebration, will be held in Orlando. The Sunshine State will become the new home of the league’s all‑star game for the next three seasons.
During Pro Bowl Week, fans can watch accessible team practices at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World® Resort, and enjoy a range of youth football clinics and family‑friendly activities throughout the city.
When we began shaping the Pro Bowl into more than just a single game—making it a celebration of youth, families, and every facet of football—Orlando emerged as the perfect destination.
—Peter O'Reilly, NFL Senior Vice President of Events
The move restores the traditional NFC vs. AFC format. The inaugural game will take place at downtown Orlando’s Camping World Stadium on Sunday, January 29, 2017.
Our tourism partners have turned Orlando into an incredible destination, and with the recent renovations at Camping World Stadium we’re ready for the NFL to play in our city.
—Steve Hogan, Chief Executive Officer of Florida Citrus Sports
Starting in fall 2016, first‑priority ticket sales will be available to season‑ticket holders of Florida’s NFL teams—Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jacksonville Jaguars—as well as Orlando’s Florida Citrus Sports and 29 other NFL clubs.
Additional details, including Pro Bowl visit planning and special ticket purchasing opportunities, will soon be posted on Visit Orlando’s website.
