Princess Elena Enchants Magic Kingdom with Limited‑Time Live Performance
Princess Elena is at Disney's Magic Kingdom in Orlando for a limited time in 2016.
Orlando remains the ultimate destination for princess lovers, and for a brief period this year, Walt Disney World® Resort welcomed a new royalty: Princess Elena of Avalor. The Latin‑inspired heroine appears several times a day in a fresh stage show at Magic Kingdom® Park.
The adventurous, musically gifted princess joins Cinderella and Prince Charming as she shares her story of leadership and adventure five times daily at the Cinderella Castle stage, where she performs the original anthem “My Time.”
Princess Elena plays guitar and sings live, having learned the art of storytelling through music from her grandfather. Her original repertoire spans a spectrum of Latin styles—including Mariachi, Latin Pop, Salsa, Banda, and Chilean Hip‑Hop.
Guests will witness her in a unique gown crafted from 14 yards of crimson satin, embroidered with more than 900 flowers symbolizing her fairy‑tale kingdom and family. Her crown features 222 sparkling jewels.
Disney’s newest character, based on a fresh animated television series, is a confident and compassionate teenager from the enchanted realm of Avalor, drawing inspiration from diverse Latin cultures and folklore—architecture, traditions, cuisine, and customs.
“This world is full of opportunity to be brave and bold and it’s waiting for you,” said Princess Elena. “Adios, mis amigos!”
