Visit St. James Episcopal Church’s Pumpkin Patch with a Purpose in East Dallas. Pick a beautiful pumpkin, snap family photos, or host a fall birthday party—all while supporting the church’s youth outreach and mission programs. The patch is open daily through October 31.

4. Pumpkin Decoupage

Join Ruibal’s Rosemade Fall Festival on October 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for free pumpkin‑decoupage classes, along with food, games and other fall crafts. Classes are limited to 10 participants per hour on a first‑come, first‑served basis.

5. Pumpkins on Porches

Attend the Dallas PorchFest in East Dallas on October 7. Families can enjoy front‑porch music, art, a kid‑friendly pumpkin patch, rock‑painting stations and other community activities—all free of charge.

6. Pumpkins at NorthPark Center

Immerse yourself in the NorthPark Center Pumpkin Patch from October 14 to 31. Located in CenterPark Garden, the display features over 25 varieties of gourds, corn and pumpkins in every shape and size.

7. Pumpkin Fest in the Bishop Arts District

Celebrate fall at the Oak Cliff PumpkinFest on October 8. Expect dunk tanks, outdoor movies with free popcorn, face painting, games, a costume contest and live music—all in a vibrant neighborhood setting.

Indulge in pumpkin‑infused treats across Dallas: Café Brazil in the Bishop Arts District serves pumpkin pancakes, cheesecake and lattes; Lakewood Brewing Co. and Infamous Brewing Co. offer pumpkin‑flavored beers; Bisous Bisous in Uptown sells pumpkin macaroons; and Emporium Pies features a Drop‑Dead Gourd‑Gorgeous pumpkin pie with gingerbread crust.

9. Pumpkins on the Plaza at City Hall

Enjoy a family‑friendly day on October 21 at Pumpkins on the Plaza. The free event includes a costume contest for kids and pets, food, arts and crafts, inflatables, face painting, hay rides, a glow party, and a floating pumpkin art display.
