Celebrate the Season: 4 Dallas Hotels Offering Unforgettable Holiday Experiences

Whether you’re a holiday veteran or just looking for a festive escape, Dallas’s finest hotels offer an array of experiences that capture the spirit of the season. From North Pole adventures to elegant tea parties, these properties turn a stay into a memorable holiday celebration.

Hilton Anatole – Design District

Every year, the Hilton Anatole transforms its outdoor courtyard into a winter wonderland. This year’s North Pole Texas runs from November 26 to December 24. Guests can:

  • Write letters to Santa at the North Pole mail room
  • Jump into the Giant Snowman Bounce House
  • Decorate cookies in Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen
  • Attend an elf academy
  • Build a take‑home teddy bear at the Toy Workshop
  • Dance at the Reindeer Dance Party
  • Explore the North Pole Mission Control Station
  • Enjoy train rides, light displays, s’mores and face painting

Hotel guests receive a 30% discount on admission to North Pole Texas. In addition, every weekend from late November until Christmas Eve, Santa and Mrs. Claus host a Breakfast with Santa, featuring chocolate‑chip pancakes, Belgian waffles, omelets and pastries, followed by a holiday story.

The Adolphus – Downtown

The Adolphus brings its storied afternoon tea tradition to a festive setting. In the French Room, guests enjoy a Holiday Tea Party on gilded Louis XVI‑style chairs beneath twin Italian Murano glass chandeliers, while seasonal classics play in the background. The celebrated “Holiday Tea for Two” offers a two‑course menu—tea sandwiches, scones, pastries—paired with either sparkling wine or cider.

On Friday, December 3, the hotel hosts its annual Great Tree Lighting. Guests can mingle with holiday carolers, sip steaming hot wassail, and indulge in Christmas cookies as the majestic tree is unveiled.

Hotel Crescent Court – Uptown

No holiday season is complete without a gingerbread house. Pastry chef Kristina Morgan leads a Gingerbread Workshop that invites one adult and one child per ticket. Participants receive admission, light bites, cookies, hot chocolate, an adult beverage, and all the materials needed to build a festive gingerbread masterpiece.

Thompson Hotel Dallas – Downtown

Texas truly is larger than life, and the Thompson Hotel exemplifies that with its spectacular holiday décor: over 12 miles of LED lighting, 35 Christmas trees, and 17,000 ornaments. Starting December 12, the hotel launches “12 Days of Thompson.” Each evening, guests at the lobby bar enjoy live holiday music, hot chocolate, festive cocktails, and a chance to win prizes such as a two‑night stay, a spa visit, or a dinner for two.

These hotels not only illuminate the city but also offer unique, immersive experiences that turn a simple stay into a cherished holiday memory.
