I recently came across the work of the funny and prolific illustrator Mike Lowery, who has spent the last two decades sketching just about everything that happens to him everywhere he goes. He's pulling some of the best pages for a new book of sketches called Slightly Jet Lagged (100-percent funded on Kickstarter). You can get a taste by following his Instagram feed. – Jeralyn, editorial director
Loving these nicely designed mini travel guides for the coffee-inclined from the well-traveled folks at Canyon Coffee. – Berit, senior editor
I was in Chicago recently and discovered the coziest, coolest place to stay: The Publishing House B&B. Built in a 110-year-old former publishing house, this place takes its literary roots seriously. Common areas include a reading nook (plus a kitchenette stocked with gooey homemade chocolate chip cookies), and the rooms – each designed differently – pay tribute to a Chicago-based author, character, or book. I stayed in the Bellow room, which even had used copies of Saul Bellow's books available to borrow or purchase. – Amelia, WordSmith
Cherry On Top is a three-day pop-up community festival that leverages the landscape as a scene for creative and cultural exploration. This year's theme is Self Care, Together. It's all going down in Marfa, Texas. Let's make plans to join the cherry cult next summer, shall we? – Jeralyn
With any luck, my apartment will one day look something like Scotti Sitz's luxuriously minimal Los Angeles home-design store Garde. Until that happens, I can always check into the apartment above her new outpost in Summerland Beach on California's Central Coast and pretend like it's mine. – Daniel, Fathom editor
Bookmarking this secret French apartment on top of beautiful concept shop Maison Empereur for a future stay in Marseille. – Berit
Help keep Copenhagen's seawater some of the cleanest in the world. Next time you're in town, check out Miljøkajakken (The Environment Kayak), an initiative that lets folks kayak around the harbor for free as long as they collect all the trash they find along the way. – Pernille, Spotted by Locals
