If you haven't experienced a green chile cheeseburger, September 9, 2016, at the 4th annual Edible Green Chile Cheeseburger Smackdown is your chance. Sample what many consider New Mexico's ultimate flavor trio—green chile, cheese, and burger—at this event from 4:00–8:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe Farmers Market Pavilion.
Thousands of public votes selected seven finalists, including five from Santa Fe restaurants: Ivan Laera from Plaza Café Southside, Anthony Smith from Living Room at the Inn and Spa at Loretto, Edgar Beas from Anasazi Restaurant, Thomas Hartwell from Red Sage at Buffalo Thunder, and Milton Villarriubia at Second Street Brewery. Out-of-towners include Tod “Toddzilla” Alexander from Chef Toddzilla’s Mobile Cuisine (Roswell, NM) and Matt Schnooberger from Freight House Kitchen (Bernalillo, NM).

Santa Fe Wine and Chile Fiesta: Celebrating 26 Years

From September 18–25, 2016, the renowned Santa Fe Wine and Chile Fiesta highlights local culinary talents paired with top national wineries. New this year: film screenings with wine and food receptions at Violet Crown and Jean Cocteau Cinemas.
