Top Places for Singapore Skyline Views
The Singapore Flyer
Thrill-seekers and Ferris wheel enthusiasts will adore the Singapore Flyer, the world's tallest at 165 meters—30 meters taller than the London Eye. Our 30-minute ride in a spacious pod delivered an unforgettable vertical tour, yielding over 200 photos.
Positioned on the Marina Promenade near Marina Bay Sands, the wheel offers evolving panoramas: Marina Bay, the Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit, eastern districts, and the busy Singapore Strait teeming with freighters.
During our visit, a curious waterfront structure caught our eye—what turned out to be the $1 billion Gardens by the Bay. This conservatory houses 226,000 plants from around the world and features 18 'Supertrees' that harvest rainwater, generate solar power, and ventilate the space.
Elevate your experience with Sky Dining: a private gondola featuring a world-class 4-course meal over two full rotations.

Marina Bay Sands Skydeck
An architectural marvel, Marina Bay Sands captivates from afar, but its pinnacle—the Skydeck—delivers the city's most spectacular views.
The 340m-long SkyPark boasts the world's highest infinity pool and a 67m cantilevered platform, evoking a ship afloat in the sky.
Access options include hotel stays (with infinity pool perks), the observation deck (S$20), or our preferred choice: a drink at Sky on 57th (house wine S$20, Singapore Sling S$18). Sunset toasts over Marina Bay are priceless.

Spot celebrities too—this hotspot attracts the elite.
Highest point: 191 m (626 ft)
Price: S$20 for Skydeck; drinks from S$8 (beer) or S$18–S$20 (cocktails/wine)
