Keys View: Breathtaking Panoramic Vistas in Joshua Tree National Park

Perched high in the Little San Bernardino Mountains, Keys View delivers sweeping panoramic views of the Coachella Valley. On clear days, spot the Salton Sea, San Andreas Fault, southern California's highest peaks—Mt. San Jacinto (10,834 ft) and Mt. San Gorgonio (11,500 ft)—and even Mexico on rare occasions.
It's a quick 20-minute drive from Park Boulevard to Joshua Tree National Park's highest point. The main overlook is wheelchair accessible. Hikers can enjoy a 0.2-mile loop trail along the ridge for fresh perspectives. For more adventure, try the moderate 2-mile out-and-back Keys View Loop to Inspiration Peak Trail or the nearly 7-mile Lost Horse Mine Trailhead.
