The Telfair Historical Museum is filled with memorabilia relating to the history of Telfair County, Georgia. The museum was established to help celebrate the Telfair County's Bicentennial in 2007. See displays of historic eras of agriculture, naval stores, timber occupations and modes of transportation. Also, items displayed relate to Telfair's communities, notable individuals and families, record setting hunting and fishing, Indian natives to the area, historic schools and cemeteries.

Hours of Operation: By Appointment Only, call 229-868-7114. In addition, maps for the self-guided walking tour of McRae's Historical Homes can be obtained at the museum.
