Nestled in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains, Chattahoochee Stables is a family-owned business since 1987. We specialize in making your visit to Helen a most memorable one atop one of our well-trained quarter horses. Enjoy the view of the historic Sautee Nacoochee Valley surrounded by the Appalachian Mountains as you ride for one hour around our three and a half mile trail, which meanders right along the Chattahoochee River. During our summer hours of operation, we go through the "hooch" making our ride the one and only "river ride" available in the area. One-hour guided trail rides meander for 3.5 scenic miles through luscious valley and mountain scenery to include 1.5 miles along the beautiful Chattahoochee River.
