Mitcham Farm: Sustainable Agriculture & Community Roots

Historic Heartland Oxford Come out and see why Mitcham Farm offers "Real Farm, Real Food, and Real Fun" for all ages. The farm is a family-friendly destination outside of Atlanta that has been in operation through five generations - well over one hundred years. In October 2000, the farm was recognized as a Centennial Family Farm by the State of Georgia for its contribution to Georgia's agriculture heritage.

We have all sorts of family fun!  In the fall, families and groups can enjoy Colonel Cob's Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch - featuring a giant corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayrides, farm animals, petting zoo, rides, a giant slide, play area, bonfire pits, delicious food, and many other activities. New in 2020, the farm is also offering 'Berry' Fun Weekends during the spring - featuring rides, games, play area, farm animals, food, drink, and other activities.

Don't forget to stop by and buy at our farm market!  A newly renovated farm market is open spring, summer, and fall offering fresh produce, homemade ice cream, frozen fruit slushies, local honey, jam, preserves, salsas, cider donuts, boiled peanuts, kettle corn, and more! In the spring and summer, berries, sweet corn, tomatoes, onions and other fruits and vegetables are grown and sold on the farm.

If you're looking for a u-pick, we've got you covered!  The Farm offers u-pick strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, and pumpkins in season.
