Explore Roswell's Industrial Heritage at the Visitors Center

Roswell Visitors Center

Start your exploration of Roswell at the Visitors Center, where friendly staff provide maps and brochures detailing all that the city has to offer.

The Heritage Center within the Visitors Center showcases the rich history of Roswell Mills and Mill Life through a series of free, public exhibits.

Highlights include a life‑size recreation of the large water wheel that once powered local mills, and a working cotton mill model that demonstrates how water power drove production.

Interactive displays explain the engineering behind water‑powered mills and feature historical artifacts, such as a drawing of the pre‑Civil War mills and a photograph of a child mill worker from the late 1800s.

All exhibits are free to the public.
