We adore Myrtle Beach for family vacations—it's brimming with delicious food, exciting activities, and top-notch family entertainment. Though we'd visited before, this year marked our first time catching a local baseball game. For the uninitiated, Myrtle Beach is home to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, a Single-A Minor League Baseball team. Previously affiliated with the Atlanta Braves, they're now part of the Chicago Cubs organization.

My husband grew up without cable TV, so the Chicago Cubs and Atlanta Braves were the only teams he watched—naturally making him a lifelong Cubs fan!
