Tin Roof Myrtle Beach: Oceanfront Live Music Venue & Southern Eats at the 15th Location
I recently visited Tin Roof, Myrtle Beach’s newest oceanfront music venue, and it far exceeded expectations. This 15th location delivers a full entertainment experience with live music, ice-cold drinks, and an impressively extensive menu. Among the Tin Roof spots I’ve explored, this one stands out as my absolute favorite.
Situated on the third floor of a brand-new 55,000-square-foot building in the 1400 block of Ocean Boulevard, the venue features three distinct areas: an outdoor patio, indoor live music seating, and a dance floor with DJ. Each section boasts a full bar, while expansive open windows and doors create a breezy, inviting atmosphere.
Opting for shaded outdoor patio seating offered unbeatable views of the beachfront, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, Pier 14, SkyWheel, and downtown skyline—perfect despite the summer heat. The laid-back vibe made it ideal for beachgoers in casual attire like swimsuits and cover-ups.
The menu’s generous size was a delightful surprise; past visits to other locations never prompted me to order food. We savored the Southern Comfort Burger, Smashville Burger, VooDoo Shrimp, and Moon Pie Split—all outstanding with Southern-inspired flavors. Next time, Nashville Hot Chicken is on the list.
Though we dined for lunch, live music draws us back soon. Its prime spot near downtown Myrtle Beach suits a night out on Ocean Boulevard. Like other Tin Roofs, some shows are ticketed, with a $5 weekend cover after 10 p.m. (waived via online guest list for Fri/Sat). Enjoy music trivia, karaoke, and year-round hours.
