Dock Your Boat at Erwin Marine and Explore Vibrant Downtown Chattanooga

Securely dock your boat and immerse yourself in Chattanooga's lively, walkable downtown. Navigate easily on foot, via the free electric shuttle, or one of 300 bikes from the Bike Share program. Discover premier attractions including the Tennessee Aquarium, High Point Climbing & Fitness, Creative Discovery Museum, Hunter Museum of American Art, Lookouts baseball stadium, and Coolidge Park. Savor local restaurants steps from the riverfront, such as Big River Grille, Hennen's, Tony's Pasta, and the Back Inn Café.

Erwin Marine on the Riverfront manages 2,800 linear feet of seawall for the City of Chattanooga. We provide fuel, pump-out services, and expert assistance from our dock master, available seven days a week during boating season for reservations and docking.

Office Hours: 12pm-5pm Monday-Saturday, closed Sundays. Advance notice required for services outside normal hours.

Check-In/Check-Out: Check-out by 11am; check-in after 12pm.

Transient Docking Reservations: Call the Erwin Marine office or hail VHF channel 16. For events like Riverbend, book ahead (no reservations over 90 days in advance).

Transient Docking: Available at Bluff Floating Walkway (550’), River Terrace Bulkhead (645’), and Floating Dock (280’) west of Olgiati Bridge. Power and water provided. ‘Commercial Dock’ reserved for official use.

Transient Docking Fees: $1.25/ft/night; $1.50/ft/night holidays/events. Minimum $40/night behind Tennessee Aquarium. Runabout rate: $0.75/night (no power). Fees paid in advance; no portable credit card processing.

Short-Term Docking (Day Use): Free at Riverwalk West (280’) and East (250’) bulkheads—cleats only, ideal for quick visits to attractions and dining.

Maximum Stay: 10 consecutive nights.

Cancellation Policy: Free cancellation 48+ hours before check-in; one night's fee for no-shows.

Alcohol: Prohibited on city docks per ordinance, except permitted events.

Open Flames: Not allowed near docks. Use designated grilling areas at Ross’s Landing.

Noise: Keep quiet after 11pm for others' enjoyment.
