Fireside at Greenway Farm Park: Free Family-Friendly Outdoor Music Series

Fireside at Greenway Farm Park is a free, family-friendly outdoor music series centered around a cozy campfire at the City of Chattanooga's Greenway Farm, located at 5051 Gann Store Rd.

All ages are welcome to unplug and savor an autumn evening in the park. Bring blankets, chairs, marshmallow roasting sticks, and a picnic supper. Relax and enjoy live music in this rustic setting. Events take place on Thursdays—October 6, 13, 20, and 27—from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., gathering behind the gardens at the Sniteman Log Cabin.

2016 Lineup

Oct. 6: The Von Wamps—Lou, Lynn, and Daniel Wamp lead a musical journey across genres and generations. They deliver an eclectic, high-spirited mix of originals and covers spanning folk, swing, jazz, country, rock, and bluegrass, infused with their acoustic flair. Skilled on guitar, mandolin, dobro, and upright bass, they always surprise and delight audiences.

Oct. 13: Caney Creek Company—Formed in 2015 by Tennessee natives: Katie Bradford (fiddle/vocals), Corey Bradford (guitar), Doug Ford (bass), Drew Streip (mandolin), and Konstantine Vlasis (banjo/vocals). This Americana/folk-rock/bluegrass band blends gospel, rock, and classical influences with traditional instrumentation. Perfect for intimate venues, their chemistry shines in every performance, from up-tempo bluegrass to heartfelt ballads.

Oct. 20: Tin Cup Rattlers—Old-time music duo delivering soulful Appalachian traditions. The Paulsons are festival favorites across the Southeast. Marcy's voice evokes the 19th century and has placed in The Great Southern Old Time Fiddlers Convention. Jeff's frailing banjo gets toes tapping. Featured on WIAA's Round Up Radio Show, WUTC's River City Sessions, and opening for The New Coon Creek Girls and Roy Harper.

Oct. 27: Vincent Ivan Phipps—Master storyteller and owner of Communication VIP Training and Coaching. Enjoy original, family-friendly supernatural ghost stories from his book Spooky-nooga. A Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) since 1980, earning the National Speakers Association's highest honor.
