Chattanooga Mini Maker Faire: Celebrate Innovation and Creativity on September 9th

The Chattanooga Mini Maker Faire returns on September 9th at the First Tennessee Pavilion. Join us from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for this free, family-friendly event celebrating invention and ingenuity.

Maker Faire is the world's premier showcase (and tell) of the Maker movement. This gathering highlights creativity, resourcefulness, and hands-on projects, where makers—from engineers and artists to scientists and crafters—share their work, experiments, and skills with curious visitors of all ages. Get inspired by a glimpse into the future!

There are several ways to get involved:

Exhibit as a Maker: Showcase your skills, crafts, or projects. Demonstrate finished work, teach techniques, or lead interactive activities. We welcome tech enthusiasts, homesteaders, scientists, tinkerers, and creators of all backgrounds and ages to bring educational topics to attendees.

Sell as a Commercial Maker or Corporate Exhibitor: Connect with over 4,000 attendees. Commercial Makers ($75 fee) offer artisanal products, crafts, or unique tech. Corporate Exhibitors ($100 fee) promote products and services.

History of Maker Faire

The Chattanooga Mini Maker Faire debuted in October 2014, capping Startup Week Chattanooga. Held annually at the First Tennessee Pavilion, it has grown alongside the city's vibrant maker and entrepreneurial communities.

Launched in 2006 by Make: Magazine in the San Francisco Bay Area, Maker Faire has evolved into a global network of flagship and independent events.

We look forward to seeing you there!
