Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2019: A Spooky Disney Celebration
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World® Resort is a festively fun tradition each season. The ghoulishly good times await on select nights at Magic Kingdom® Park.
What is it?
It's Halloween with a Disney twist! The party begins at 7pm each night and is a separate special event admission ticket featuring sweets and delightful treats, a special fireworks show, eerie entertainment and Disney Characters that go bump in the night. Best of all: since this event is "not-so-scary," children of every age can enjoy the fun.
Highlights
- Take in the dazzling fireworks display, new for 2019. Mickey and his pals find themselves drawn into a mysterious haunted house where they'll encounter dancing skeletons, waltzing ghosts and Disney villains. Their adventure is brought to life through state-of-the-art projection effects, lasers, lighting and dazzling fireworks.
- Gather up goodies as you trick-or-treat through the park.
- Meet and mingle with Disney friends, some of them wearing special Halloween costumes.
- Check out the wickedly wild procession of ghosts, ghouls, goblins and more in Mickey's "Boo-To-You" Halloween Parade. Watch a spirited performance from the graveyard diggers, see the undead twirl and tango in a lively dance, witness the skeleton band as they get into a groove, and more as they all masquerade down Main Street, U.S.A.®
- See your favorite attractions with a few new twists. Don't miss the Mad Tea Party as the lighting and effects give a new spin on the night. And on Space Mountain®, hurtle through space in a whole new light—in the dark! Discover live pirates searching for Halloween treasure in Pirates of the Caribbean®, and interact with a comic cast of monsters in Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor®.

The party runs on select nights during the months of August, September and October.

- September — 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27 and 29
- October — 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29 and 31

How to save on tickets
Ticket prices vary by date and are based on historical demand. The event requires a special ticket apart from regular park admission during the day. The cost is between $79 and $135, depending on the night. Typically the closer to Halloween, the cost is a bit more. Buying in advance helps save compared to paying day-of at the gate. Purchase tickets early to save $10 on select nights. Tickets are available at https://www.citypass.com/orlando.
Costumes
Disney has specific guidelines for dressing up. In general, costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent. Visitors can dress as their favorite characters, but aren't allowed to pose for pictures or sign autographs. A lot of guests get creative by channeling the characters without dressing exactly like them.
