LEGOLAND Florida Announces Family‑Friendly Water Park Opening Summer 2012

Discover the newest addition to LEGOLAND Florida Resort: a family‑friendly water park designed for guests of all ages.

Since its grand opening in October, LEGOLAND Florida Resort has already captivated visitors. The park is set to debut its dedicated water park this summer, featuring attractions crafted for children 2 to 12 and adults alike.

Key attractions include:

  • LEGO Wave Pool: A gentle wave pool where waves are just the right size for every age.
  • Twin Chasers: Riders slide 375 feet down two intertwined, enclosed water slides before landing in a splash pool.
  • Splash Out: Thrill seekers climb to the park’s tallest point and choose one of three slides, racing down a 60-foot drop before plunging into the water.
  • Joker Soaker: An interactive playground featuring slides of varying lengths and heights, complete with a 300‑gallon bucket that rains water into the surrounding pool.
  • Build‑A‑Raft River: Families can design and launch a custom LEGO vessel on a 1,000‑foot lazy river.
  • DUPLO Splash Safari: A toddler‑friendly play area with shorter slides and larger‑than‑life DUPLO creatures.

Admission: Single‑day guests can add water‑park access for an extra $12 per adult and $3 for children under 3. The water park is also included with the new Premium Pass, available for purchase or through select AAA Auto Club Group branches.
