Explore Legendary Music Memorabilia at Hard Rock Hotel, Universal Orlando
There are new reasons to visit Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando in 2013.
Hard Rock Hotel® at Universal Orlando™ invites music lovers to experience history up close with the Treasures of the Hard Rock traveling memorabilia exhibit.
The show showcases two exclusive collections pulled from Hard Rock’s vault: Gone Too Soon and Music Gives Back.
Gone Too Soon honors icons whose lives were tragically cut short. Highlights include a dress worn by Amy Winehouse at a 2008 Nelson Mandela tribute concert, a ’90s stage outfit from Whitney Houston, John Lennon’s handwritten lyrics to “Help,” and the 1967 Gibson SG Custom that Jimi Hendrix played on the Dick Cavett Show.
Music Gives Back – Rock ’N Roll Philanthropy reflects Hard Rock’s “Love All, Serve All” mantra, spotlighting artists who have partnered with the brand on charitable campaigns over its 40‑year history. Items once owned by Shakira, Steven Tyler and Eric Clapton are on display.
Beyond the Treasures exhibit, the hotel’s lobby features permanent displays. Visit the Rock Shop to spot artifacts from Elton John, Paul Stanley (KISS), Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), and many others.
