Elevate your experience with helium and hot‑air balloon rides above Orlando.

In a city that never sleeps, we all crave a moment of calm. Orlando offers a unique escape: hot‑air and helium balloons that lift you above the hustle. Operators prioritize your safety with rigorous health and sanitization protocols, so you can relax and enjoy the view.

Here are six exceptional ballooning options that let you see Orlando from a whole new perspective.

Please note: Some experiences may be temporarily modified depending on the season. Learn more about healthy travel and what’s open in Orlando, and check with your chosen attraction for its current status.

Aerophile at Disney Springs®

Disney Springs offers many attractions, but a single view of it all comes from the sky. Aerophile’s custom‑built Aéro30 helium balloon, designed for Walt Disney World® Resort by Paris‑based Aérophile S.A., lets you climb aboard the 19‑foot‑diameter basket. An 8‑ to 10‑minute flight with up to 28 passengers provides panoramic views up to 10 miles away—including the theme parks.

Aerostat Adventures

For nearly two decades, Aerostat has offered hot‑air balloon rides lasting 1 to 1.5 hours over Central Florida’s tropical landscapes. You’ll glide above scenery, wildlife, and the city’s theme parks. Each balloon seats up to six passengers, allowing for a more intimate experience, and private tour packages are available.

Orlando Balloon Adventures

Since 2002, Orlando Balloon Adventures has operated private charters and shared gondola flights at sunrise—weather permitting—seven days a week. Hour‑long flights follow paths dictated by wind, offering vistas of theme parks, orange groves, and swamps. With a maximum capacity of four passengers, the gondolas emphasize comfort. They also offer custom packages for engagements, weddings, and special events, plus hotel pickup.

Painted Horizons

Established in 1991, Painted Horizons has been a staple of Orlando’s balloon scene. Flights cover Orlando, Kissimmee, and Walt Disney World areas, typically lasting about an hour. While their standard tours carry two to four people, larger groups can be accommodated. Hotel pickup is available.

Bob’s Balloons

Bob’s Balloons has served Central Florida for over 20 years, operating from more than 100 take‑off and landing sites. Balloons hold four to six passengers, and an air‑conditioned van transports guests to and from sites. Special packages and tethered flights for private events are offered.
