Cinco de Mayo on the Margarita Mile: Live Music, Tequila, and Tacos

After a challenging year, Dallas is ready to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with the best tequila, tacos, and frozen margaritas along the iconic Margarita Mile. Below is a curated guide to the festivities.

Taquería La Ventana – Downtown
In its ninth year of Cinco de Mayo celebrations, La Ventana will host a lively party on May 5 featuring live music, drink specials, and more. Only the Downtown location offers a Margarita Mile check‑in, but guests can later head to El Fenix and Meso Maya for additional check‑ins.

The Rustic – Uptown
The Rustic is Dallas’ go‑to spot for live music, and its Cinco de Mayo lineup continues that tradition. Gather friends, enjoy a Texas‑sized patio, and sip margaritas while listening to live tunes. The venue will also debut the new Joe Leo—an innovative Tex‑Mex restaurant from FreeRange Concepts—whose tacos will be available during the celebrations.

Jose – North Dallas
Mark the day as Jose celebrates its fourth birthday on Cinco de Mayo. Expect live mariachis, DJs, and surprise entertainment, plus signature Squozen frozen margaritas and Chef Anastacia Quinones‑Pittman’s unique Guadalajaran‑inspired dishes.
