Top Links We Love: October 10, 2015 Weekly Roundup
What we're clicking on and talking about this week at #FathomHQ.
This weekend, I'm going to pick out a few of my favorite travel Instagrams to print on the super cute new printing service Parabo Press. I'm really into their newsprint and shape print options. – Berit, editor
Stylist, one of my favorite London magazines, has a roundup of the new UK restaurant openings I'm adding to my to-do list. – Pavia, founder
I know winter isn't a great time to be thinking of Helsinki, but this artistic apartment filled with delightful Finnish details and so much light has me dreaming of a cozy winter retreat. – Becky, assistant editor
I grew up and live in Jackson Heights, Queens, which means I have access to a wealth of fruits and vegetables from Southeast Asia. But that doesn't mean I know what an elephant ear or nimbu is. Lucky Peach's guide to Indian vegetables is helping me make sense of my neighborhood's market stalls. – Daniel, editorial assistant
I'm going to have a busy week in NYC: On Wednesday and Thursday, I'll be at the Skift Global Forum, a TED for the travel industry. And come weekend, I'll split my time between architectural greatness at Open House New York and feasts at New York City Wine and Food Festival. – Pavia
A playground that lets kids run forever and a slide that takes you to class are just two of the awesome features at Japan's Fuji Kindergarten. – Berit
Speaking of NYC neighborhoods, a few LWLs ago I mentioned that DNAinfo was inviting New Yorkers to draw their neighborhood borders. 12,000 entries and 280 neighborhoods later, results are in, with lots of disputes (unsurprisingly), neighborhoods I didn't realize didn't already exist, and the sad news that nobody wants the five blocks between Chelsea and Hell's Kitchen. – Becky
A big thank-you to Team Fathom for introducing me to podcasts. They're my new favorite form of media. I started off with "Serial." Then "Radio Lab" came along. (I know, I'm behind on this one...) But now, with this list of the top podcasts by topic, there's no stopping me. – Daniel
