I can't believe I'm just finding out about The New York Adventure Club. The organization runs tours of hard-to-access NYC spaces that I've always been curious about, but can't access — the underbelly of the subway system, the city's oldest home, and a private rooftop garden. – Berit

Just learned about the very cool what3words app this week. A combination of three simple words will identify a set 3m x 3m square anywhere on the planet. It's easier to remember than coordinates and helps totally remote places with poor addressing systems get help. The UN uses the app for disaster recovery, and the Mongolian post office has adopted the system. – Becky
