This four-day celebration, October 14-17, 2021, launches the event season. Dive into the latest in art, architecture, and design, while previewing Modernism Week February 2022.

Expect over 50 in-person events, including tours and parties. Modernism Week prioritizes safety, adhering to all City of Palm Springs and Riverside County regulations.

Palm Springs and Cathedral City require face masks and proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.

Highlights of 'Mini Modernism Week'

The Fall Preview offers a taste of modernism via talks, seminars, exclusive home tours, and parties in rarely accessible venues.

"We're thrilled to deliver a full 2021 Fall Preview schedule," said Lisa Vossler Smith, Executive Director of Modernism Week. "Join us for exclusive October events and a glimpse of our 11-day February festival, featuring tours, iconic architecture, and poolside parties."

Home Tours: Iconic and Emerging Residences

Modern enthusiast Charles Phoenix leads signature double-decker bus and walking tours through historic neighborhoods. Iconic sites like Frank Sinatra's Twin Palms open for standalone tours, showcasing interiors and grounds.

Featured homes include 'Seventies Sackley,' 'Sunburst Palms,' and 'Limón,' available for daily tours.

Modernism Week Fall Preview 2021: Palm Springs  Essential Midcentury Modern Event“Sunburst Palms” revives a 1956 Lawrence Lapham design in Deepwell. “Seventies Sackley” blends contemporary and vintage in a 1975 Stan Sackley masterpiece. “Limón”, an all-steel seven-bedroom luxury rental for 14 guests, echoes 1968 Mexico City Olympics graphics.
