Editor s Picks: Best Travel Links We Love – February 9, 2019

Every week, our travel editors and experts select the best travel finds on the internet and beyond.

Forever working on my escape plan to someplace peaceful and provincial, like this charming apartment retreat in Bonnieux, France. – Berit, senior editor

This new Tokyo hotel has ten teahouse-inspired rooms stacked on a staff-free fashion boutique and an all-day bakery / restaurant located on three floors of a building in Shibuya. – Daniel, editor

I went to the opening of Frida Kahlo: Appearances Can Be Deceiving, at the Brooklyn Museum. It's the first exhibition in the United States to present the Mexican artist's personal objects from Casa Azul, her lifelong home in Mexico City. (Her husband stipulated that her possessions be locked away for 15 years after her death.) What an incredible life she had. I love the way she crafted identity through her collecting habits — hand-painted clothing, Meso-American paintings, pre-Colonial jewelry. Kahlo is a treasure, and this is her trove. – Jeralyn, editorial director

I'm going to London next week, and I'm already looking forward to high tea at The Milestone Hotel, previewing the soon-to-open Belmond Cadogan Hotel, weekending at Heckfield Place, and visiting The Design Museum to see why it earned the impressive title of "European Museum of the Year." — Pavia, CEO

Loving these photos of everyday life in northern Vietnam by travel photographer Kevin Faingnaert. So lush. – Daniel

It's the Year of the Pig, which means good fortune for all of us. Once you're flush, you can spend your cash on this assortment of swine-themed items curated by the folks at Cool Hunting. –Jeralyn
