Start at the Plaza with Pancakes on the Plaza: pancakes, classic cars, live music, and art. Explore downtown sites like the Loretto Chapel's miraculous staircase and Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis.

Lunch at La Plazuela in La Fonda Hotel for New Mexican fare and their Centennial Margarita (Trail stamp). Stay for the Boys and Girls Clubs fireworks at Santa Fe Municipal Recreation Center (gates 5 PM; call 505-983-6632).
