Santa Fe's Railyard District now hosts the nation's first encaustic art museum, opened in March 2017 by the Encaustic Art Institute. The Museum of Encaustic Art aims to build the largest and most comprehensive collection of encaustic works in America, featuring paintings, photography, sculpture, mixed media, and more.
New Programming: Meow Wolf

Through August 20, 2017, visitors to Meow Wolf can enjoy daily "Summer in the Multiverse" performances. Inter-dimensional travelers, musicians, acrobats, magicians, and more from across the cosmos entertain throughout the day, included with standard admission.
New Art Tour: Farm to Canvas

Art lovers and foodies will appreciate the new Farm to Canvas tour from Santa Fe Art Tours. Led by local artist Liz Brindley, this walking experience explores the Railyard District's galleries and Santa Fe Farmers' Market, blending art and ecology. Includes 2-3 gallery visits, market exploration, and a hands-on printmaking workshop. Available select Saturdays for $50 per person plus tax.
New Concept Store: The Duke and I

Fashion designer Randolph Duke and textile expert Irene Salas have opened this 3,000-square-foot concept store near the historic Plaza. It addresses textile waste with global textiles, trims, accessories, and private consultations.

Expanded Facility: Santa Fe Spirits

Santa Fe Spirits has expanded its distillery and tasting room, boosting production of award-winning Colkegan Single Malt Whiskey. The doubled space now hosts tours, cocktails, educational classes through November, and events for up to 100 guests.

Shreveport native Eliot Chavanne and partner Connor Black bring Cajun flavors via Trinity Kitchen, parked daily at Meow Wolf. Enjoy étouffée, boudin, beignets, and more. It also appears at summer events like the Santa Fe International Folk Art Market.
New Summer Schedule: Santa Fe Farmers' Market
The iconic Santa Fe Farmers' Market adds Wednesdays (3-7 p.m.) through September 27, 2017, to its Saturday year-round and Tuesday (May-November) schedule. Part of Wednesday Eve at the Railyard, it features fresh produce, family activities, dinners, and diverse programming.
