New Brewery & Distillery

Tumbleroot Brewery and Distillery launched in April 2018 with two Santa Fe locations—the second craft distillery in the city and the first producing both beer and spirits. The Bisbee Court production facility features a tasting room open daily 4:00–8:00 p.m. for viewing and sampling. The Agua Fria taproom hosts live music, a kid-friendly patio with play structure, and rotating food trucks.

Cacao Santa Fe's new summer café menu delights with ice cream treats, chocolate-coffee shakes and malts, brownie sundaes with Spanish chocolate toppings, and more. New chocolate bars include a 55% dark goat milk variety and a 90% Ecuador bar with coconut sugar.

New Culinary Festival

The Whiskey Classic debuts October 13, 2018, at Bonanza Creek Ranch, a famed Western film site. Celebrate New Mexico craft whiskey, bourbon, scotch, wine, beer, and cider with sessions on pairings, hot mixology, Cigars 101, and bottling comparisons.
New Contemporary Art Exhibition

SITE Santa Fe opens its latest biennial, SITElines.2018: Casa tomada, on August 3, 2018, through January 6, 2019. Inspired by Julio Cortázar's Argentinian story, it showcases 23 artists from eight Americas countries.
Hotel Renovation

Historic El Rey Court, a 1936 Route 66 motor court, unveils a major renovation blending modern Southwest style with retro flair: hexagon Saltillo tile floors, rustic wood furniture, and Native American textiles. The mid-century pool becomes the “Pool Club”; a lawn transforms into a live music venue. The new La Reina bar in the former breakfast room is now open.
