Rosewater Grill & Tavern: Premier Dining at Delta Downs Racetrack Casino Hotel
Bet on exceptional flavors at the newest dining destination at Delta Downs Racetrack, Casino & Hotel. Rosewater Grill & Tavern represents the first phase of Boyd Gaming's $45 million expansion project. My husband Bob and I recently savored a memorable meal there.

The venue features two distinct sections: the casual Tavern and the elegant Grill, offering stunning racetrack views through a wall of windows. Each has its own menu—the Tavern focuses on lighter fare—but items overlap, allowing orders from both, as we did.
In the Grill, soft, relaxing lighting ensures easy menu reading. Plush seating and well-spaced tables create a comfortable atmosphere. On a busy Saturday evening, the space felt vibrant yet uncrowded, with attentive, polite staff.
We began with specialty cocktails: my Moscow Mule (vodka, ginger beer, lime) was the best I've tasted—refreshingly perfect. The Delta Classic (bourbon, muddled cherry and orange, Angostura bitters) was equally impressive.
Warm yeast rolls with buttery, salted hints arrived promptly. As seafood and steak specialists, we chose Street Tacos: fresh tortillas filled with grilled shrimp, red cabbage slaw, avocado, chives, and spicy chimichurri sauce.

À la carte ordering let us pair a Tavern Chop Salad with a 7 oz. filet mignon and New York strip, plus asparagus. Steaks were flawlessly cooked—tender and juicy. The salad featured ample blue cheese and tangy dressing; asparagus was perfectly steamed, soft yet firm.

Tempting desserts awaited, but we saved room for our next visit to Rosewater Grill & Tavern.
