Owner Shauna St. Pierre Fuselier calls her truck "gourmet on the go." With training from Le Cordon Bleu in San Francisco, she crafts five-star meals.
Top pick: Dat Tacos with chipotle shrimp, braised pork belly, Mardi Slaw, and cucumber de gallo. Don't miss the Loaded Pork Frittes—pork smoked 15-20 hours over sweet potato fries.

Hi-Licious Street Kitchen
Haili Li, who immigrated from China in 2006, brings authentic spicy flavors homesick diners crave. Starting at farmers markets, her truck quickly became a local favorite.

Signature dishes: rib plate, shrimp fried noodles, crab Rangoon, and bean salad. Her crab Rangoon earned Best Dish at the 2016 Arts & Crabs Festival.

Weinie Dog Cart
Kristi Wooldridge launched her hot dog cart in 2011, serving events before food trucks boomed in Lake Charles.

Beyond dogs, try the Monte Cristo: deep-fried ham and cheese melt with egg batter, powdered sugar, and homemade strawberry sauce. LaFrance Fries mimic poutine with fresh cheese curds, fries, brown garlic gravy, and green onions.

The Sloppy Taco
Brett and Amanda Stutes launched in 2014; by 2015, it dominated city events.

Their gourmet fusion tacos blend Asian, Cajun, and Mexican influences. Fan favorite: Sloppy Taco with braised pork, grilled steak, chipotle-glazed shrimp, Monterey Jack, purple onions, jalapeños, and house remoulade.

They've expanded to a brick-and-mortar at 2500 Kirkman St.

Smokin’ Hot Grill
Hans Funk and fiancée Jessica Ieyoub offer Cajun-Texan flair: "Come and get a BITE."

Robbie Austin and Nick Villaume rule gourmet popsicles since summer 2014. Find them at farmers markets, retailers, events, freezer carts, or their 80s van.
