Discover the excitement at Fideaux Field, Sulphur's newest dog park that's quickly becoming a local favorite for pet owners and their furry companions.

I had the privilege of attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony with my friend Ellie Mae. The park offers two fully fenced, off-leash play areas—one for small dogs and one for larger breeds—along with comfortable benches, dog-friendly water fountains, shaded grassy spaces, and a variety of agility equipment for active play.

After plenty of playtime testing the equipment, it was time to head home for a well-deserved rest.

Fideaux Field is open daily from dawn to dusk, except Mondays when it closes until noon for maintenance. Located at 900 West Parish Road in Sulphur, LA, the park was thoughtfully planned, designed, and installed by SPAR staff.
