Louisiana Winter Beer Festival: 3rd Annual Event Guide, Highlights & VIP Ticket Giveaway
Beer enthusiasts won't want to miss the 3rd Annual Louisiana Winter Beer Festival, taking place on Saturday, March 4, from 1-5 p.m. at the Historic Calcasieu Marine National Bank building in Lake Charles (VIP entry at 12 p.m.). This event caps off an exciting Lake Charles Beer Week, running March 1-4, with over 40 breweries showcasing more than 120 craft beers, including local favorite Crying Eagle Brewery.
From March 1-3, enjoy multiple events across venues like Botsky’s, Luna Bar & Grill, My Place American Pub, Hokus Pokus, Darrell’s, Crying Eagle Brewing Co., Sloppy’s Downtown, and Luna Live. View the full Beer Week schedule here.

On Friday, March 3, from 6-9 p.m., attend the Brewer’s Ball at Crying Eagle Brewing Co., featuring beer-paired dinner courses and live entertainment by the Chris Shearman Experience—a more casual alternative to past formal dinners.
The festival highlights include the debut of Crying Eagle’s "Hop Blooded" IPA, a collaboration with 80s rock band Foreigner. This full-flavored, dry-hopped IPA combines biscuity malts with a unique seven-hop blend. Foreigner personally sampled and approved the brew during their January visit to Lake Charles.

Saturday’s lineup features Houston-based regional rock bands Big Richard and The Blaggards, a hard rock Irish folk group. Food trucks will provide plenty of dining options to complement the tastings.
